We are in Boise for my nephew's wedding tonight. In preparation for the day, my husband and I had pedicures. We sprung for the Special which was a Fruit-themed scrub. It was very decadent. My husband has never had a pedicure before and now he is spoiled, thinking that they are all so wonderful. He was actually sighing with contentment. It was quite cute, actually.

Our chairs were giving us massages as the gals worked on our feet and legs. |

Wow, what a great idea. And what a good sport your husband is. Mine would never agree to a pedicure, but I keep telling him if he tried it, he'd like it!! LOL
ReplyDeleteI love pedicures, even when I don't get my toenails painted. It's very relaxing!! Of course I take a book to read and my shop knows how to do my feet then my hands so that I can get some reading time in. :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a wonderful, relaxing time. I've never had a pedicure either, but after seeing your photos, I think I definitely need one.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, you left a comment on my blog, asking about the Trail of Shadows on Mount Rainier. Yes, the trail starts across the road from the back porch of the inn at Longmire. The hike took about 20 minutes even with me stopping to take pictures and was not difficult at all. The Mt. Rainier website lists other hikes along with their length and degree of difficulty.

I hope you enjoy the hike as much as I did!
Ah don't you just love a day of pampering. Looks like it was nice and relaxing. Glad both you and hubby enjoyed it.
ReplyDeleteI haven't ever gotten a pedicure or any other kind of spa treatment. For several years though, I treated my step-mom to a gift card to massages and other forms of pampering. She seemed to really like the experience.
ReplyDeleteI've never had a salon pedicure either, just the ones I do at home for myself. It does look relaxing, almost decadent!
ReplyDeleteI love that your husband got a pedicure with you. I have wanted my husband to do that but he adamantly says no. I don't know why, but he really is averse to the idea. Maybe if I show him this post he will change his mind. :)

That looks so nice, I like the cucumber idea. I can't believe your husband participated too- and seemed to enjoy it- mine has avoided similar activities overseas, and just hung around waiting instead of participating.
