We'd planned to go to Italy last summer and then we discovered we needed a new roof. :-( We'd planned to go to Italy this summer and then my son decided to get married. :-( So now we are thinking that we won't even try to plan a trip to Italy next summer...It's just not to be, I think.

This trip was the "make-up" trip for the one we had planned in 2011 because my husband was diagnosed with cancer that Spring. Go ahead and plan a trip for next summer and it will happen!
DeleteI definitely want to enjoy some of these specialties of Italy. I have loved oil and vinegar with bread in Italian restaurants here.

ReplyDeleteThe cappuccino that I have pictured here was not only the prettiest but the best tasting of the trip and it was made at a Burger King near the train station in Florence. After taking the picture I did drink it then wished my husband could have seen it. (He was away buying picnic foods for the next leg of our journey.) when he returned I made him order one himself so he could see the coffee artistry.
