As in the past, most of my 2026 reading goals and challenges are of my own making. Most of the challenges center around award books and that means there is a limited number of books I expect myself to read for each and sometimes there is crossover between them also. Note: This is posted to my pages rather than my posts so I can easily find it and reference it throughout the year. Because of this all comments need to be moderated. |

Assignment 2026. Can I do it? You know I'll try.

Wishing you lots of luck with fulfilling your goals!
ReplyDeleteGreat personal challenges, Anne! I read Moby Dick and really enjoyed it.
ReplyDeleteI hope to have a very positive experience with Moby Dick. Of course I know on one level it is amazing since it continues to be a book mentioned as one of the best ever.
DeleteLooks like a good mix of goals! Good luck!
ReplyDeleteI love all the graphics you made! Maybe I should make a graphic for my own personal reading challenge, which is to read one book for each national month (e.g. Black History Month, Women's History Month, etc.).
ReplyDeleteHere is my full TTT: https://thissideofstoryland.blogspot.com/2026/01/top-ten-tuesday-bookish-goals-for-2026.html
What a wonderful idea. I bet this really forces you to appreciate other cultures and ideas. How many national months are there?
DeleteStephen is doing the classics club as well! I’m not sure if you’ve seen him around on TTT, but you two are the only folks I’ve seen mention that so far this week.
ReplyDeleteMany of the folks on Classics Club don't seem to do these weekly memes like Top Ten Tuesday, I suspect.
DeleteBest of luck achieving your goals! I have no doubt you'll succeed.

Thank you.
DeleteI think you will do it! You normally do complete your goals. Have fun with it!
ReplyDeleteI allow my goals to guide my reading choices.
DeleteGood luck, Anne!
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteGood luck! I think you'll do amazing.
ReplyDeleteAww...thank you.
DeleteWow, I'm not sure I know anyone who has actually read MOBY DICK. I'll be interested to hear about your experience with it. Good luck with all these goals!
ReplyDeleteHappy TTT (on a Wednesday)!
I hope I like it. I have the book now and still gasp at its length...800 pages.
DeleteGood luck with all your reading challenges!
ReplyDeleteDid you get rid of Disqus by the way?
My TTT: https://laurieisreading.com/2026/01/20/top-ten-tuesday-bookish-goals-for-2026/
No. For some weird reason, Disqus doesn't moderate Pages comments compared to Posts. Weird.
DeleteGreat goals! I wish you luck with them and hope you have fun achieving them :)
