Today I celebrate family. Two weeks ago we had a family reunion and gathered in Central Oregon. My dad is 87 and his health is failing; my parents celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary; all my siblings and most of my children and nieces/nephews were able to be with us for a few days. Every day and every event with Dad is a day to celebrate.

ReplyDeleteWow! 64 years is amazing. My parents would have been 63 years this summer and my dad is really missing mom. It is good that we can be there for our parents.

ReplyDeleteWhat a great celebration! You will all treasure these wonderful memories. We just had a 90th birthday celebration weekend for my mother-in-law. It is so much better to celebrate our parents while they are still with us.
