  2. I've seen Kristin Hannah's around on Goodreads, and various other lists, but haven't ever read a book by her. Hope it's a good read. :)

Thanks so much for visiting Finding Wonderland, Anne.

  7. Nice list! I always wonder that why, being an Indian, I haven't read The God of Small Things yet? Seriously I have no idea. I should definitely get it soon.

  11. Oh wow, this is a very varied list, love it! I haven't actually read any of them yet, but my interest is piqued by a few of the locales- I definitely don't think I have read a book set in Ethiopia before and now I kind of want to!

  12. China and France (and Japan too) are locations I'd enjoy reading more of! And I don't think I've read anything set in Brazil or the amazon rainforest.

  16. The Hundred-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out a Window and Disappeared is a book that my mum read and it's been sitting on our shelves for ages but I still haven't gotten around to it.

  17. A wonderful list! I loved Shanghai Girls. I still haven't read the follow up book. Shame on me, I know. A State of Wonder was such a nice surprise for me. I really liked that one as well. I read it with a book group. I didn't manage to make it too far in the audio version of Cutting For Stone despite my loving the narrator's voice. I think that might be a book I do better if I read on my own. I do want to try again at some point.
