I read "Artemis" only a few weeks ago and while I did enjoy it it was far away from being as brilliant as "The Martian" in my opinion. I think a lot of people are a bit disappointed by Andy Weir's 2nd novel (maybe because the expectations are too high after his first book?) but I found it still quite entertaining!
Good to know. I think I will get to it but will likely listen to it on audiobooks.
I wanted to read more literature, and fewer mysteries, but I stayed about the same. I do need to find some new authors because I'm getting in a rut.
We Should All Be Feminists is super short, so you'll be able to read that in a flash. I absolutely adored both When Dimple Met Rishi and Lincoln in the Bardo, but I've seen a lot of reviews saying that people struggled with Lincoln - I'll be interested to see what you think when you get around to it.You can check out my Top Ten Tuesday here.
I also have When Dimple Met Rishi on my list! I hope we both read that book soon! Here’s my TTT!Ronyell @ Rabbit Ears Book Blog
We should all be feminists is short, but powerful. She makes so many compelling points. I also loved When Dimple Met Rishi, is was such a cute story.Carmen`s Reading Corner
I bought We Should All Be Feminists when I was in New York last month and I thought I would read it right away. But I didn't get to it and now other books are crowding it out.
I have THUG and Far From the Tree to read as well as Wild Beauty. I'm aiming to read all three by the end of the month.
I agree with you, Georgiana. We Should All Be Feminists was a very good read. I'm also looking forward to checking out What Happened. Here is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thanks!
With the book Fire and Fury published I now want to read it and get a fuller idea of what really did happen.
I loved Lincoln (so different!) and I loved listening to the Oprah collection.
Oh good to know. I love audiobooks so I will look for the Oprah book in that format.
I'm sure you will love Wild Beauty. It was one of my favorites in 2017. Good luck picking up all these books!
Artemis was absolutely awesome! Happy reading, Anne!
I've heard mixed things about Artemis. It sounds interesting though. Marie @ Pages to Explore
Of that list I liked Dimple and Feminist best. I am having trouble wrapping my head around reading right now between the mudslides and CYBILS books :-)
