Trees at public library and "pink snow."
I know this isn't the most lovely picture, but I was really struck by the pile of petals. They are like Spring leaves. Our weather has been so up and down this Spring that the flowering trees bloom out and drop their petals within days. I'm glad I caught this moment in time.Snapshot Saturday is hosted by At Home With Books.
One of my very favorite things is to see piles of cherry blossom petals - especially if the wind kicks up and they swirl around the street.
ReplyDeleteThat "pink snow" is extraordinary! :)
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful! I wish we had those trees here, but it's too dry (Colorado). Here’s my Saturday snapshot post. ~ Jen @ A Book and a Latte
ReplyDeleteI love cherry blossoms -- my parents' have a few neighbors that each have a tree in their yards. I would love to have one at our next house. Thanks for stopping by my Saturday Snapshot post, too! :-)
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful!! Love those pink flowering trees!
ReplyDeleteOur weather has been very rainy and cold this spring. Seeing your picture of all the petals on the ground does make me think of spring.
ReplyDeleteI love those flowering trees, but they sure do make a mess when the petals fall off.
ReplyDeleteI too love the look of the petals like snow on the ground--and especially love a windy day when they fly through the air like flakes.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you caught the shot too. Lovely blossoms covering the tree and grounds. Too bad they only stay a few days.
