The Friday 56 is hosted at Freda's Voice.
Check out the links for the rules and for the posts of the participants each week. Participants don't select their favorite, coolest or most intellectual books, they just use the one they are currently reading.

I start to say something, but it would be pointless babble. There is nothing I can tell her to make her feel better. I know this from experience. Both of us are lost and fragmented. We stand in the cold, shivering a little and saying nothing at all.
My thoughts: I'm a huge fan of Sylvia Plath's writings and this book highlights her book The Bell Jar. I look forward to exploring how the author mined the writings of Ms. Plath to assist the healing of her main character who is chronically depressed.
