Books I'd totally reread IF I didn't already have a huge pile of books to read for the first time.
1. An Abundance of Katherines by John Green. I listened to this audiobook not realizing that this book is full of humorous footnotes. I need to READ it (not listen) again to take full advantage of those footnotes.
2. The whole Harry Potter series by JK Rowling. My daughter always encourages me to reread the series because I keep asking her about details I've forgotten.
3. Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte. I read this book in junior high. I am familiar with the story but I'd really like to reread it with adult eyes.
4. To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee. It is a foregone conclusion I WILL reread this book, the question is when.
5. All of Jane Austen's novels. I love Austen and want to make time to reread all the books.
6. Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowell. I had a very emotional experience with this book. I want to reread it to see if that emotion was real.
7. The Chronicles of Narnia by CS Lewis. Love these books and I know I'll make time again in the future to reread the whole series.
8. Animal Dreams by Barbara Kingsolver. At least I think I want to reread it but I did try earlier this year and wasn't in the mood.
You have a lot of my favorites on your list! Jane Austen is my favorite author and I'm hoping to re-read at least Emma sometime soon.

I almost put Eleanor & Park on my list, but I only read it in April... Still, I'd love to read it again! Nice list!

Good list, I really loved An Abundance of Katherines and I found the footnotes to be pretty entertaining and I'm pretty sure I learned stuff from them as well which was fun. I'm also a fan of Harry Potter and Narnia as well.
ReplyDeleteNew follower! An Abundance of Katherines is still on my TBR list. Harry, Jane Eyre, Jane Austen...all yes! Plenty of good re-reads...

Oooh I do love Barbara Kingsolver! I can't remember Animal Dreams very well though, partially because I read it so long ago, and partially because I guess Prodigal Summer and Poisonwood Bible made such an impact my brain apparently doesn't have room left for any other Kingsolver. (Why brain, why??)
