Love your entire list. And your #1's on mine too! And I agree about the Going Bovine moment, and the Harry Potter too, and Stargirl, and, well, all of them. Thanks for bringing back such serious "aww shucks" memories.
ReplyDeleteI love that part in To Kill a Mockinbird too, great pick!
ReplyDeleteThe Mirror of Erised is a great moment. My favorite quote comes from Harry being around that mirror. :)
ReplyDeleteWHOA spoiler alert for Going Bovine! :P S'okay, we don't freak out about stuff like that.
ReplyDeleteLoooove your list. Great mix of stuff. #2 is probably our fave.
Aww harry and his parents! I forgot about that one!

I'm usually bawling at the end of Where the Red Fern Grows.
ReplyDeleteStargirl is a big favorite with me. I adore the character of Stargirl. Couldn't bear to read the sequel....
ReplyDeleteI tweeked "awww" to be moments that give one pause. Here's my Top Ten "Awww" Moments. I hope you'll stop by and see what you think.
Wow! You have a very diverse list. LOVES it!
ReplyDeleteThe scene with Scout and Boo gives me chills every time I read (or see) it. "Hey, Boo." She just KNOWS who he is, and is good and sweet and unjaded enough to not be afraid. Great moment.
ReplyDeleteYou have a couple scenes I wanted to included this week. Love the Book Thief and Red Fern scenes you highlighted. Plus, the end scene between Boo and Scout is fantastic!
ReplyDeleteSome great choices here! I love the Mirror of Erised, Scout's moment with Boo, and Rawls' dogs. And I really need to read both The Art of Racing in the Rain and Stargirl.
ReplyDeleteThanks for coming to my blog!
Great list! I cried when Max and Liesel were reunited. That book actually made me cry quite a bit.
ReplyDeleteWhen I read The Book Thief and then tried to write about it, I was horrified because I knew that my words could never do that book justice. Zusak did an amazing job with that one. And the scene you mentioned was quite emotional!
ReplyDeleteGreat picks!
