Day 7 Question (Last question of the week):
Which camp do you fall into? Jane Eyre (Charlotte Bronte) or Pride and Prejudice (Jane Austen)? My Answer:
When they were alive I know the Bronte sisters did not think much of Jane Austen's books. If I compare Jane Eyre to Pride and Prejudice I do recognize that JE has the more exciting plot, but I still prefer P and P. It's been years since I read any Bronte but I read Austen every year. I am firmly in the Austen camp. What about you? What is your answer to today's question?
Also answer Day 1 , Day 2 , Day 3, Day 4 , Day 5, Day 6 questions. Remember you can enter this contest everyday!
Definitely camp Pride and Prejudice (Jane Austen). I can't even exactly say WHY. I love her books and have read them several times. JE is just not for me.

Thanks for the tee shirt's web! I would choose Pride and Prejudice over Jane Eyre. Somehow, PAP appeals more to me.
ReplyDeleteI love the story of Jane Eyre!! :D
ReplyDeleteOh this is hard but I'll have to go with Jane Austen.
ReplyDeleteWell, neither. My wife LOVES P&P, she reads the book, and makes me watch the movie (the newer one with Keira Knightly) often. Of course, I'm not really into the "classic" books, either.
ReplyDeleteGreat giveaway! Love the idea of the question-a-day...I might have to steal that for my blog sometime!!!!
I love Jane Austen and therefore Pride and Prejudice.
ReplyDeleteI have read neither. I've seen Pride & Prejudice, but not Jane Eyre. So, I guess P&P.
ReplyDeleteI am in the Bronte camp, though I prefer Emily over Charlotte Bronte.
ReplyDeleteI would have the say the Austen camp, mainly after reading The Lost Memoirs of Jane Austen by Syrie James.
ReplyDeletePride and Prejudice for sure. I just enjoyed it a lot more, and find Austen's books (for the most part) lighter than Bronte's.

Eyre!!! I have never been able to get past chapter two of Pride and Prejudice... Book nerd failure, but oh well.
