  1. Great recommendations! Did you like "Becoming" more than "Crawdads?"

  3. I like this idea for a TTT topic. I'm not terribly sure I could figure out what I recommended the most, as I don't keep records of that. Maybe just my gut level feeling.

    1. Some of the later books were based on my records, the earlier ones were based on my gut feelings and memory.

    1. I know. I was so inspired and it makes me sad for what we've lost in Trump.

  8. It's interesting to see the books you recommended in the past. I've read a few of them, like Ender's Game and Unbroken, and a couple of them I'd still like to read, like Ready Player One.

  11. I've read 11 on your list. You are probably the reason I read Cutting for Stone (and loved it.) But I don't see that on many lists. Thanks for the recommendations (past and future!)

  12. So many great books on this list! Though I don't know how you remember what you were recommending 10 years ago - quite impressive, Anne!

I agree on many of these...but there are also a bunch I haven't read yet. So many great books & so little time...

    Have a great reading wek!

    1. It wasn't a scientific thing. I looked back on my end of the year posts where I answered which book I liked the best for that year. Then I went through my list of books I read during each year on Goodreads. I just used my memory or my impression of which I recommended the most. As a librarian, I had a good handle on the books students liked and which books I pushed the most each year, so my YA books are probably more accurate than my adult choices.
