Snapshot Saturday...Dec. 3
My daughter, Rita, is getting married to Dan this summer. On Thanksgiving we joined his family for dinner. Prior to dinner we visited the house where Dan currently lives and where he and Rita will live when they get married. The house is very cute and spacious and Dan keeps it neat, not what we expected from a bachelor. However, he does have one very "bachelorish corner"... his gaming set up. Two computer screens and an easy chair in which to lounge in while he plays computer games. My husband and I laughed and laughed about this set up. Dan told me that one of his fraternity brothers did something similar and he thought it was a good idea so he copied it. I think that is even funnier. Lest you think I am being a mean soon-to-be mother-in-law, Dan took this picture for me and knows that I am posting it here. He agrees that it looks funny but "it is comfortable." Wonder how long this will last after they get married?

That chair! I'd be asleep in five seconds lol
ReplyDeleteThat is so bachelor! I couldn't figure out why the chair was so close, but gaming makes it make more sense
ReplyDeleteI hope he can always have a man corner to retreat to. Here's My Saturday Snapshot
ReplyDeleteI never would have thought of doing that but it does look comfy! :)
ReplyDeleteLooks great to me! Comfy.
ReplyDeleteha ha - my husband still has his recliner...just like his own dad!! It's a guy thing.
ReplyDeleteWhen I was first out of college, I made a funny observation - that ALL young bachelors had pretty much the same furniture style - something very brown...and often brown plaid. At one networking meeting with a bunch of other young engineers, a friend and I polled all the guys as to the color of their sofa...and every single one said brown! Sadly, I am currently sitting on my husband's old bachelor brown sofa, after 22 years of marriage! We are way overdue for new furniture...
