  1. I love that you listed a book this week that you only added last week. I'm the same way. I don't know. If I like the sound of one, I add it—who knows what's actually going through my mind at the time!

  2. Beach Read does look kind of fun (and that was funny that you mentioned it being added just last week). :)

The 7 1/2 Deaths is one I've heard good things about.

  3. Beach Read has been mentioned a lot lately in all sorts of contexts! I wonder what folks will say about it if/when they decide to review it?

  6. Bluebird, Bluebird was a Gulf Coast Reads selection down here. My book club loved it, but I'm not a big mystery reader.

I enjoy Katherine Center as an escape. I tend to like her a little more than most authors who write that sort of read as she is a Houston person and I've met her, I think.

  7. I didn't find Autumn very interesting to be honest.

Here is our Top Ten Tuesday.

  8. There are so many books I'd like to read, and films I would love to see--it's overwhelming!

  9. Beach Read might have been the cute cover and blurb? That's why I read it.

  10. The only one I've read is Things You Save in a Fire and I enjoyed it. It's an easy read, but not fluff.

  11. Great list. I haven't read any of these. Some of them look interesting. I've been cutting from my list, too. Need to make room for more books, right?

Thanks for visiting my blog today.

  14. These are all pretty topical books ... that's probably why you put them on your TBR. I listened to The Female Persuasion a couple years ago ... it was okay. I think I want to try out Attica Locke's books.

  15. I remember seeing Evelyn Hardcastle everywhere for a time, but I could not tell you what it was about.
