I've recently started playing around with Storygraph. As I record a book the App assigns a genre or genres to it. All of the selections I am listing I've read in 2025, all are considered historical fiction by Storygraph, and I liked the titles I am sharing.

Let's Call Her Barbie by Renee Rosen Starting in 1956 this is the story about Ruth Handler and her most famous invention: the Barbie doll. |
The Safekeep by Yael Van der Wouden Set in The Netherlands in 1961 about the aftermath of WWII and the Holocaust. |
A River Runs Through It by Norman Maclean Based on the author's childhood memories of fishing with his father and brother in the rivers of Montana in the 1930s. |
