In past years, I have found the Odyssey awards are usually spot-on - last year's winners were spot-on.

Sue

Great Books for Kids and Teens

Book By Book
Sue Jacksonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14532098225905355332noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4083328248557950617.post-42059566152015413332013-03-16T08:08:08.430-07:002013-03-16T08:08:08.430-07:00I bawled like a baby reading this book. Interesting that John Green thinks the audio versions are better than print. Makes me curious. I might have to get the audiobook of TFOS and check it out. I was surprised it didn't win more awards overall as well.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07091698933263675862noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4083328248557950617.post-63764354302900245012013-03-11T21:08:41.026-07:002013-03-11T21:08:41.026-07:00I agree, it is too soon for you to read this book....I agree, it is too soon for you to read this book. I felt drained after finishing it and I am not currently experiencing the sensations that come with losing someone that I love. You are so brave and have to work out your grief on your own timeline.Anne@HeadFullofBookshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01069558006454986084noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4083328248557950617.post-69450791200132238622013-03-11T20:50:32.938-07:002013-03-11T20:50:32.938-07:00I hope he does read your post! If the theoretical losing of someone you love makes you weepy, you can imagine how I feel. It's like losing a limb except worse. I am no longer myself and all my routines and daily activities are changed and poignant. I know time will help, but that's cold comfort.Margarethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17197599882756386184noreply@blogger.com
