I don't think I us...That's a nice exercise. I don't think I usually pay all that much attention to the last line of the book. I pay attention to how the book closes, but I'm usually hurrying to finish- either for good reasons or for bad reasons, and I don't linger over what the author is trying to convey with that last sentence.
