With all the controversy, how can you not be informed. With the high demand for this one, how can you NOT put it in the library. It's going to be a best seller, people. I have a lot worse in my library, I'm sure. It's about providing people what they want to read. Who am I to say this isn't "worthy" to be on my shelves? I'm not attached to Kill a Mocking Bird unlike some readers. I only read it a couple of years ago. I do like your point on making the character more human. I guess we tend to look to fiction for our absolute heroes. I'm still on the fence on reading this one. Perhaps when the hype/buzz dies now and I can view it with no expectations and/or preconceived notions. <br /><br />p.s. I'm having an enjoyable summer.
