I Crawl Through it is on my TBR too, and your comment and placement in the most unique book spot has me extra curious now!
Sounds like you had a great reading year!
Thanks for stopping by the The Local Muse Mallory @ The Local Musehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18076272254010271626noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4083328248557950617.post-75880782008211150932015-12-28T16:55:11.710-08:002015-12-28T16:55:11.710-08:00I'm glad to see that you liked the Martian too...I'm glad to see that you liked the Martian too! I thought it was such an awesome read though I loved the book way more than the movie. I've also been meaning to read more of his works, I actually have quite a number of his novels lined up on my TBR queue. Maybe in 2016?

I also read All the Light We Cannot See and The Martian this year and greatly enjoyed both.

Great answers, all the best in 2016! Then maybe I'd get my TBR pile to a more manageable state!

I really need to read The Martian. I've heard some good things about that one.

And I like Gansey, too! I've liked him from the first book in the series (though I've only read The Raven Boys and The Dream Thieves so far). I really want to know what happens with him and Blue and the prophecy... but I'm also kind of scared to find out!La Coccinellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03118313017081994087noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4083328248557950617.post-87383575585874857072015-12-21T20:29:52.207-08:002015-12-21T20:29:52.207-08:00I didn't count how many, but I mostly read wha...I didn't count how many, but I mostly read what I want and that often means YA and mysteries. :)Margarethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17197599882756386184noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4083328248557950617.post-14390210937049601222015-12-21T16:26:57.687-08:002015-12-21T16:26:57.687-08:00I think? Hard to tell exactly how much just looking at my Kindle.

I did read all of the Disk World series except for the last one (in my Que). Mostly I read "throw away" Sci-Fi or Fantasy and/or general escapism. I see enough "drama/dysfunction/"real world" stuff in my daily work life to read anything with serious thought or drama. At least for now.

Thank you for your blog Ann. I always look forward to reading what your are reading. That's a lot in one year!

I love the unique format of this post - I usually just post Top 10 of the year and similar common "bests", but I love all these cool categories! I may link up to this, if it is still going on when I do my year-end summary at the start of January ( I like to include EVERYthing I read during the year - who knows? My best book of the year might still be coming next week!)

You read so many interesting books this year! All the Light We Cannot See is at the top of my wish list (and hopefully under the tree!).

Enjoy this holiday season!

Sue

Book By BookSue Jacksonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14532098225905355332noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4083328248557950617.post-75328161077714159162015-12-21T13:09:04.250-08:002015-12-21T13:09:04.250-08:00Next year i want to read The woman in white. It's been on my TBR list since it released but I just haven't picked it up yet.

I know that sometimes it can feel a little troublesome writing reviews, but keep at it! Someone is reading them and finding it useful. You'd be surprised how many people, probably.

Wishing you a bookish 2016!
